This privacy policy explains how we handle user information in our app “Cek Kode Ban”. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it. This app explains the codes printed on car and motorcycle tires: the tire size, load index and speed rating, the DOT plant code and the production date. It also includes a tire size calculator and a dictionary of tire markings.
We DO NOT collect, store, or transmit the tire codes or sizes you enter. When you type a tire size or a DOT code, it is decoded locally on your device using the reference database that ships with the app, and the result is only shown on your screen. The app has no search history, no accounts and no servers, and we do not collect personal data such as names, contacts, photos or location. The app does not use the camera.
The only things the app saves on your device are a small setting that records that you accepted the notice shown at first launch, plus a local copy of the reference database that ships with the app.
Our app uses Google AdMob to display ads. AdMob requires an internet connection. Google may collect and use certain data to serve and measure ads, such as your device's advertising ID, IP address, device and app information, and ad interaction data. Whether ads are personalised depends on your device settings. You can reset your advertising ID or opt out of ads personalisation in your Android settings (Settings > Google > Ads).

This app is designed for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us.
Since we do not collect or transmit the codes you enter or any other personal data, there is no personal data stored on any external server of ours that could be breached. The data you input never leaves your device through this app. Ad-related data is handled by Google according to its policies.
This app only requires access to the Internet (INTERNET and ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE) for the purpose of loading Google AdMob ads. The Google Mobile Ads SDK may also declare advertising-related permissions (for example AD_ID). The tire code features do not require any permissions.
Information was compiled from public sources. We do not own, operate or control these sources.
Plants that closed many years ago may no longer be listed by NHTSA, so some old plant codes may not be found. Calculator results and diameters are theoretical; inch and alpha sizes use typical aspect ratios. We do not guarantee that any information is accurate, complete or up to date. Listing a source here is not an endorsement and does not mean that the source is affiliated with this app. If you believe any information is wrong, please contact us (see below) and we will review it.
This application is an independent reference tool and is NOT affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to NHTSA, the U.S. Department of Transportation, the UNECE, the Indonesian Ministry of Industry, the National Standardization Agency of Indonesia (BSN), or any tire or vehicle manufacturer.

Their appearance does not imply any affiliation with, or endorsement by, those owners.
The app only explains tire markings. It cannot judge whether a tire is safe to use, and it is not a substitute for an inspection by a qualified professional or for the specifications of your tire and vehicle manufacturer. The developer accepts no liability for the use or misuse of the app or its results.
