This privacy policy explains how we handle user information in our app “Cek Kode Stasiun” (English name “Train Station Code Finder”). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it. This app lets you look up Indonesian train station codes, find stations by name or city, browse stations by province, operational area or service, and see the stations nearest to you.
We DO NOT collect, store, or transmit the codes or names you search for. Every search runs locally on your device using the reference database that ships with the app, and the result is only shown on your screen. The app has no search history, no accounts and no servers, and we do not collect personal data such as names, contacts or photos. The app does not use the camera or the microphone.
The only things the app saves on your device are a small setting that records that you accepted the notice shown at first launch, plus a local copy of the reference database that ships with the app.
The optional “Nearest stations” feature uses your device's location. Location permission is requested only when you tap the button, and you can choose approximate or precise location, or refuse. When you use the feature, your location is read once, used only on your device to calculate the straight-line distance to stations and sort them, and then discarded. Your location is never saved, never sent to us or to any server by this app, and never shared with third parties by this app. The app does not track your location in the background. You can withdraw the permission at any time in your Android settings.
Our app uses Google AdMob to display ads. AdMob requires an internet connection. Google may collect and use certain data to serve and measure ads, such as your device's advertising ID, IP address (from which an approximate location may be derived), device and app information, and ad interaction data. The app does not pass your GPS location to AdMob. Whether ads are personalised depends on your device settings. You can reset your advertising ID or opt out of ads personalisation in your Android settings (Settings > Google > Ads).

This app is designed for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us.
Since we do not collect or transmit your searches, your location or any other personal data, there is no personal data stored on any external server of ours that could be breached. The data you input never leaves your device through this app. Ad-related data is handled by Google according to its policies.

Station information can change and may be incomplete, outdated or wrong. Distances to the nearest stations are straight-line distances, not travel distances. The app does not contain train schedules, routes, fares or tickets. We do not guarantee that any information is accurate, complete or up to date. Listing a source here is not an endorsement and does not mean that the source is affiliated with this app. If you believe any information is wrong, please contact us (see below) and we will review it.
This application is an independent reference tool and is NOT affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero), KAI Commuter, KAI Bandara, MRT Jakarta, LRT Jakarta, LRT Jabodebek, Kereta Cepat Indonesia China (KCIC), the Directorate General of Railways, the Indonesian Ministry of Transportation, the Wikimedia Foundation, or any railway operator.
Station names, company names, service names and trademarks shown in the app are the property of their respective owners and are shown for reference and identification only. Their appearance does not imply any affiliation with, or endorsement by, those owners.
