This privacy policy explains how we handle user information in our app “Cek NIK Offline”. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it. This app is designed to help users extract demographic information from the Indonesian Identity Number (NIK) safely and offline.

2. Information We Collect (Zero Data Collection)

We DO NOT collect, store, or transmit your NIK (Nomor Induk Kependudukan). When you enter a 16-digit NIK into the app, the parsing process happens 100% locally and offline on your device. We do not have servers, and we do not collect any personal data such as names, photos, or location.

3. Third-Party Services

While the NIK checking feature works entirely offline, our app uses Google AdMob to display ads. AdMob requires an internet connection and may collect certain non-personal data (such as device type, IP address, and ad interaction data) to serve relevant ads and improve performance.

4. Children’s Privacy

This app is designed for general audiences, primarily adults in Indonesia. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us.

5. Data Security

Since we do not collect or transmit your NIK or any personal data, there is no personal data stored on any external servers to be breached. The data you input never leaves your device. Ad-related data is handled securely by Google according to their policies.

6. Permissions

This app only requires access to the Internet (INTERNET and ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE) solely for the purpose of loading Google AdMob ads. The core NIK parsing functionality does not require any permissions.

7. Disclaimer & Affiliation

This application is an independent utility tool and is NOT affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Indonesian Government, specifically the Directorate General of Population and Civil Registration (Dukcapil). The app extracts data using publicly available regional code algorithms and does not access any official government databases.

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this document. We recommend reviewing this policy periodically.
