This privacy policy explains how we handle user information in our app “Cek SIM Offline”. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it. This app helps users read the structure of Indonesian driving licence (SIM) numbers, both the old 14-digit format and the new format that uses the 16-digit national identity number (NIK), safely and offline.
We DO NOT collect, store, or transmit the SIM number or NIK you enter. When you type a number into the app, the parsing happens 100% locally and offline on your device. Details such as region, date of birth, age and gender are calculated on your device from the digits you entered and are only shown on your screen. The app has no search history, no accounts and no servers, and we do not collect personal data such as names, photos or location.
The only thing the app saves on your device is a small setting that records that you accepted the disclaimer shown at first launch, plus a local copy of the reference database that ships with the app.
While the number-decoding feature works entirely offline, our app uses Google AdMob to display ads. AdMob requires an internet connection. Google may collect and use certain data to serve and measure ads, such as your device's advertising ID, IP address, device and app information, and ad interaction data. Whether ads are personalised depends on your device settings. You can reset your advertising ID or opt out of ads personalisation in your Android settings (Settings > Google > Ads).

This app is designed for general audiences, primarily adults in Indonesia. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us.
Since we do not collect or transmit the numbers you enter or any other personal data, there is no personal data stored on any external server of ours that could be breached. The data you input never leaves your device through this app. Ad-related data is handled by Google according to its policies.
This app only requires access to the Internet (INTERNET and ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE) for the purpose of loading Google AdMob ads. The Google Mobile Ads SDK may also declare advertising-related permissions (for example AD_ID). The core decoding functionality does not require any permissions.
The reference information used by this app was compiled from public sources on the internet, listed below, and from our own checks against sample licences. We do not own, operate or control these sources.
The structure of old 14-digit SIM numbers and the Satpas code list are not officially published. They come from unofficial sources and limited sample checks, and may be incomplete, outdated or wrong. We do not guarantee that any information from these sources, or any result shown by the app, is authentic, accurate, complete or up to date. Each third-party website and publication is solely responsible for its own content; listing a source here is not an endorsement and does not mean that the source is affiliated with this app, and none of these sources has reviewed or approved this app. If you believe any information is wrong, please contact us (see below) and we will review it.

This application is an independent utility tool and is NOT affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Indonesian Government, including the Indonesian National Police (Polri), the National Traffic Corps (Korlantas), the Ministry of Home Affairs, or the Directorate General of Population and Civil Registration (Dukcapil). The app interprets numbers using publicly available information and digit patterns, and does not access any official government database.
Results are estimates only. Parts of the information (for example the structure of old SIM numbers and the list of issuing-office codes) are not officially published and may be incomplete or inaccurate. The app is not a verification tool and its results do not prove that a licence or identity number is genuine or valid. The app must be used only with your own number or with the consent of the person it belongs to, and must not be used for any unlawful purpose. The developer accepts no liability for the use or misuse of the app or its results.
